If the Power button is red, VCSD's morphing features are available for use. These morphing features include Voice Morpher, Nickvoices, Parody Mixer and all advanced effects in the Advanced panel.

If you want VCSD to stop morphing voices or sounds in your PC yet is able to perform common tasks like comparing voices, play audio files, or recording audio files, etc., click this button.

Tips:

You can set a hot key for the Power button to quickly turn on/off VCSD.

Notes:

VCSD either runs in the Autonomous or in the Intercept mode.

AUTONOMOUS and INTERCEPT MODES

The Autonomous mode is the default mode when VCSD starts working. In this mode, you can control the audio stream sent to VCSD from the microphone, CD-ROM, Line-in, or another source.

VCSD will automatically switch to the Intercept mode when you start using another audio program. In this case, VCSD will intercept and modify the audio stream processed by that program. The quality of sound in this mode depends not only on VCSD's settings but also on the other audio program and its settings. Some audio programs will not allow you to change any sound attributes. Others, for example, Windows Sound Recorder, will let you select and record a voice file modified by VCSD in the audio format selected by you.
